Tina Herchenröther’s two large-format paintings have been on display in the windows of the restorers’ former drugstore since October 2023. For her new works, the artist was inspired by collections from the scandalous fashion house Balenciaga. A modern knight’s armor from the 2020 collection and a dress made of numerous interwoven small metal rings inspired Herchenröther to create her motifs. The interplay of ornament, femininity and strength are central to both works. The window show will now be extended until January 14, 2024.
