Lothar Zaubitzer explores the nature of animals and their physical forms in his sculptural work. In his small-scale sculptures, the clay mass transforms into fur, skin, or claw. These are stylized creatures that Zaubitzer carefully shapes from the material itself, giving each a distinct sense of presence and being.
The artist was born in 1964 in Frankfurt am Main, where he continues to live and work today.
