In a major survey show, the Schirn now recounts the development of “Outsider Art” from its discovery in the 19th century to the present. And we can immerse ourselves in colorful, sometimes confusing, and always extraordinary art worlds: On display, for example, are the fantasy creations made of computer scrap by A.C.M. or the famous female bodies by Aloïse. From Frankfurt’s Atelier Goldstein, Birgit Ziegert has been invited.”
