“Grandbaby Operatime” is an exhibition at Goldstein Gallery curated by Berlin artist Stephen Suckale that has the hiphop movement as its subjet. Babak Sayahzadeh – the youngest of Goldstein Gallery’s artists – will be juxtapososing his digital work with Suckale’s own work and linking it with work by Jakob Kolding and Thomas Bayrle.

The photograper Leonore Mau died last month at the age of 97. In the seventies and eighties she explored Afro-American religion in the Caribbean, Latin America and Africa.
“IEMANJA”, by Michaela Melian and Thomas Meineke, published this month by SPECTOR BOOKS echoes the photobooks by Leonore Mau and Hubert Fichte also recalls a great woman photographer and her work. The book presentation “IEMANJA” is in co-operation with Jakob Hoffmann.
