Birgit Ziegert
Since Birgit Ziegert joined Atelier Goldstein in August 2005, she has developed in an amazing tempo a collection of black and white works. She has no particular speciality – she is a master in experimenting, her studio is like a laboratory.
The theme that runs through all her works are animals; of creatures great and small, she possesses a strong graphic style, which exudes confidence and strength.
The works are spontaneous and direct, whether she is working with acrylic onto canvas or directly onto wood, she has stitched a tapestry made out of plastic and wool.
She can master any format and has worked directly onto walls creating a dense exotic cosmos.
