Julius
Bockelt
Specializes in both fine abstract designs that
sometimes include optical illusions and three dimensional works using
found materials such as wood or plastic. His graphic works are all
freehand working onto diverse formats, usually paper with fine-liner
ink pens; he will work out a design in rough and then he will transfer
his design onto paper – the composition is made up of delicate lines
or dots an experiment with light and shadow, occasionally a study
of a hind leg of a horse will appear. He works highly concentrated
on an image, the end product being an elegant and disciplined , exercise
in graphic design, with an eye for the perfect composition.
